CHO 6: There is currently no REC coverage in CHO6. National R&D is working on a solution to this situation. Updates will be posted shortly. The exception is applications for research conducted in the East Wicklow Mental Health Services who can apply to Newcastle Hospital REC.
CHO 7: Reference REC Dublin and Midlands (and HSE Centre). For services under the remit of Stewarts Care Designated Activity Company (DAC), please apply to Stewarts Care REC
CHO 8: For community services in Westmeath, Offaly, and Laois Reference REC Dublin and Midlands (and HSE Centre). For community services in Meath and Louth – HSE North-East Area Research Ethics Committee
CHO 9: There is currently no REC coverage in CHO9. However, a Research Governance Management and Support (RGMS) Forum has been established for reviewing studies in this area. Please contact Dr Austin Warters or the Head of Health and Wellbeing directly for more details of how to apply. For research conducted within the Dublin North City and County Mental Health Services, please contact its REC.
